Keeping Kids Fed is a non-profit organization based out of Slidell, Louisiana that provides healthy, fresh meals to children in the community during times of need.
Our Mission
We are Nancy and Colby Cook, founders of Keeping It Real Meals. Our mission has remained consistent since day one: provide nutritious food and beverage options to our community. We are proud to be a locally owned, woman-owned, and military-run business. The addition of Keeping Kids Fed allows us to expand our services and love to children in need.
We have always wanted to give back, even as our company has grown. Prior to COVID, we were working on a non-profit concept. Keeping Kids Fed is the result and will assist children in our community. This next step opportunity motivates us to stay true to our mission and we are excited to provide nutritious meals and beverages to children in need.
